There is a lot of talk about a stun gun in the US. It has been serving the people in self-defense. Since attackers have started finding it easy to attack the people, specifically in the dark, it has become essential to carry a self-defense weapon. Though there are plenty of weapons that can be used for defense, but people have faith in this electroshock weapon called stun gun. It seems as if people have finally come around the fact that it is the most effective self defense weapon.

Also, you don’t have to aim one specific part of the body. Whether you target any part of the body, the electrical shock would do a similar damage.
In a self-defense situation, there is no weapon better than stun gun. Not just it works quickly, it works effectively. As you deliver the shock to the attacker, it immobilizes him for a reasonable period of time. It allows you to escape and save your life because it would take time for the attacker to get back on his feet. So, it is an effective way of defending yourself against the attackers. And this is why it is mainly adopted as a self-defense weapon.

Yes, you read it right. Stun gun has served in hunting animals. In many countries such as Australia, the Animal Rights Association has banned hunting and slaughtering animals with firearms or other weapons because they consider it an inhumane act. This electroshock device assists in this regard. Hunters can use it for immobilizing the animal and then killing it. The idea is to cause a minimum pain to the animal. Are you wondering how this small device can immobilize a big game? We’re possibly talking about a deer! If an attacker gets immobilized, why can’t a deer?
Let me make one thing very clear, the stun gun used for self-defense and the one used for hunting are pretty different. To conclude, I can say that stun gun should just be a self-defense weapon. I don't disagree with animal rights association, but it is not an ideal way to do hunting. It has affected hunters to a great extent because the thrill and excitement of this activity has lost. For hunting, the hunting weapons like air guns and crossbows must be used rather than a small electroshock device. However, for self-defense, I agree that there is no weapon that surpasses stun gun. It is the most effective weapon in such situations. So, I would prefer real hunting weapons for hunting and use this device for dealing with the attackers!
